East Carondelet recently received a grant from St Clair County to upgrade the park camera systems and provide additional funding for the Independence Day Celebration held the first week of July.

The East Carondelet Police department was recently awarded a 15,000 dollar grant to update the department with 5 newer Taser 7 model tasers. This was a much-needed upgrade for the officers as the older model tasers were discontinued and became less reliable when needed.
